The HVR-A1E is fitted with a 2 Megapixel CMOS sensor in 4:3 format that will provide HDV content on 1,080 lines. You can choose the recording format (HDV, DVCAM and DV) to suit your production needs for easy transfer between SD and HD. You can also take still pictures with your HVR-A1E with a maximum size of 2.8 Mb (1920 x 1440 pixels). The HVR-A1E also offers advanced audio recording functions with a built-in stereo microphone and 2 XLR inputs for external microphones.An external microphone is included to increase the felxibility of the package.
