Nextag Posts Record 10 Million Monthly Unique Visitors and Fastest Growth of All Online Comparison Shopping Sites

NexTag, Inc. today announced that it has surpassed 10 million monthly unique visitors with August year-over-year growth of 122%, the fastest growth rate in the comparison shopping category based on Nielsen//NetRatings monthly data1. This continues growth patterns in which NexTag consistently outpaces the growth rate of the comparison shopping category overall in addition to other independent comparison shopping sites. Collectively, traffic to independent online shopping comparison sites grew 50% year-over-year.

NexTag's growth was also confirmed by web site visit data from Hitwise2 which reports that NexTag had the fastest annual growth in the category and doubled its share of category web visits in the last year. This makes NexTag the second most visited comparison shopping service in the category with a site visit growth rate three times that of its nearest competitor.
