Thought they were up to date maps but found on first use a few streets were missing. You have the option to correct these on the fly then send to tomtom to be corrected in any future updates. Apart from that this is a great unit which even has a very useful help menu in case of emergencies. Well worth the money and it is priced the same as the old v2 so if your not bothered about bluetooth i would recommend this one.
