This dryer was a replacement for a White Knight Condenser dryer we bought over 7 years ago on a budget. From the first time we used the new Hoover, it was very apparent that this dryer was leaps ahead of our old one. It has a huge capacity and is remarkeably quiet probably less than half the noise our old one makes. It is the most energy efficient of it's class available and has been faultless to date. The only area that could be an annoyance is the need to remove the water tray from the bottom of the unit. However, if you have it stacked on a washer (as many people do), it is in the most convenient location possible. We're already looking to buy the matching 9KG Hoover washer, we're that impressed.
