After a tragic accident, Matt Sullivan is finally moving on with his life. Until tragedy strikes again. Whilst on a visit to his wife Dawn's rural home town of Blackwoods, an axe-wielding intruder breaks into their motel room and abducts Dawn. Shock and anger turn to frustration when, to Matt's dismay, the local sheriff doubts his account of the incident. He also claims that he has never heard of Dawn's family.
